No matter what you are purchasing, the features of an item play an important role the decision that you make.
When it comes to food, the features are how the item tastes and what size the portions are when you purchase the item.
If you see that you can get the same amount of quality but a bigger portion somewhere else then you would choose the other place.
When you are buying a car, the features are how fast does the car go and if it is safe.

The same due diligence should be used when you are picking an antivirus to run on your computer.
This is probably the most single important program that will run on your computer.
It is up to you that you make sure that it has everything that it will need to be able to protect your system.
If you fail to look at features and lean more towards price alone, then your system will be compromised and you will have no one to blame but yourself.
When it comes to an antivirus some of the features that are offered are unnecessary to most people but it is up to you to decide if you need it or not.
